D-Star LED Repeater Modification
02nd September 2008
****UPDATE**** I do have the board parts back in stock and am taking orders. The lead time is 1-2 weeks for completion. Thanks!
How many times have you wished that your D-Star Repeater Modules has transmit and receive lights when you are trying to troubleshoot those interesting nuances we have all come to know and love with the D-Star network?

Now there is a solution: the N5EBW D-Star LED board!
This modification is a drop in replacement for the rear panel interface board that handles the communication between the RF module and the controller. The new board makes use of existing signals between the radio and controller to illuminate transmit and receive lights on the front panel, made possible by drilling two 1/4″ holes to accept the new LED’s.
Each kit includes everything you need to install for the drop in replacement: A circuit board, as well as all of the necessary hardware, and LED wiring for the new front panel lights. The only thing not included is the drill bit to facilitate the needed holes.
The replacement boards are compatible with the RP2000V, RP4000V, RP2V, and RP2D modules, and you will need one board kit for each module in your D-Star repeater stack.
Cost: $50 USD per board
To order, please fill out an online order form:

Thanks!
