Hi Bryan! Thanks for the great comments. Please let me know if you have any difficulties following this process, as I want it to be as easy as possible to follow for all. Feedback is always welcome.

Excellent timing. I am just getting started on this myself almost the the same Stanley #4 which I bought off of eBay. I found a flow chart to date it and I will try to figure out how old it is. I have been following a similar process. Right now I have the sole flattened. All of the big scratches are gone. I only took it to 320 because that was the finest I had. Keep up the good work. Now I can read part 2. Looking forward to part 3.

Yeah, I was gonna replace all four, but in the scheme of things, the vehicle will still be drivable even with the light on...with slightly less gas mileage (I think the V6 only averages 20 MPG highway anyway). I'll just replace them as they go. I'm having to replace brake rotors on it at 70K, they are in real bad shape. Thanks for visiting!

I have the same truck, and had the same exact problem. Thanks for the info. I replaced my pruge valve solenoid, and 4 hoses. The hoses were in awful shape, dry and cracked at both ends.Got my code reset, went to Texas and back. No more engine light.
